The Emperor in the picture above is presented in four decks, in order as follows: #1 the Tarot of Jane Austen d, #2 Tarot of the Celtic Faeries, #3 the Nicoletta Ceccoli Tarot and #4 the Dark Grimoire Tarot.
Thomas Bertram of Mansfield Park represents the Emperor in the first deck. His stature is imposing and intimidating. Drawn as big as the building behind him, this card indicates power and authority, as well as wealth. You may have your own way of thinking in doing things and expect others not to interfere in any away. Mr Bertram has a sense of justice which he applies swiftly when he notices that his niece Fanny Price is living in colder quarters of the house. He immediately moves her with the rest of the family to rectify the situation. Eventually he may be using power over the member of the family in a different direction than they choose, appearing as a strong "parental figure". In real life, the Emperor can represent a strong, authoritive man that exercises power over you or an employer who is pushing you. If this card represents yourself, you are concise and have the power to do good for yourself and others.

He holds the secret knowledge of making "gold dust". In the picture the Emperor is surrounded by 2 servants, former alchemists who are now turned into creatures.
