Tarot News and Resources

Blessings everyone,

There is a new tarot project going waiting to be financed on kickstarter.com Tarot Fundamentals.

Ok, the project is managed by some tarotists I don't particularly feel they have what it takes to produce a series of tarot books. For one, take Sasha Graham, she is a self- called "tarot diva"- I bought her first book and proved to be such a disappointment! She also has a problem with image- if you look at the pictures on her book, and her blog have nothing to do with how she looks in reality. This woman cannot even accept how she really looks; she has an idyllic image of herself. How is she going to write a book on tarot when she cannot even accept herself?

The other 2 famous writers involved in this project are Marcus Katz and Tali Goodwin-  two of the most boring people ever!

Overall I think this project is a great idea, but in the end the books will be just as good as the people who wrote them. Tarot is not a novel! It does not need to be told by "writers", to be explained it in a story form. Tarot needs to be told by professional psychics, clairvoyants, mediums, magicians that can relate to the occult part of the matter. I honestly think that if this project would be managed and written by Michelle Knight, Carrie Paris, Mary K Greer, Rachel Pollack, Paul Hughes- Barlow, Anthony Louis would be a great success!!
So my advice is not to put any money into this mambo-jumbo project, because in the end you will only finance a story-telling of tarot and tarot history and this is beyond the true purpose of tarot.

Now talking about your tarot business I found some great tarot resources on the internet that I want to share with you.

First of all, if you are looking (like I am, but don't have yet the funds for it) for a great web designer for your tarot blog please meet Beth Maiden of Little Red Tarot! She has some samples of her work in her site, which I found awesome ! She also unlike other web designer actually understands Tarot!

For a direct link to her blog and to get some advice on design of your tarot blog just click Design Tips for your Blog.

And now going even further if you are looking for ways to grow your tarot practice a great first stop is the blog Grow Your Tarot Business.

Last but not least you should get a copy of the life and biz workbook/ organizer of lovely Leonie Dawson. She is a lovely very creative Australian lady and you can link with her right at Create Your Shining Year. Don't postpone and plan your year with one these wonderful planners in paper or tablet format.
I would really love to get one of the paper organizers myself, so it is still on my wish list for now.

These are my news and resources for now and check back for Valentine's day when I will be talking about every Witch's dream is a magician!

Blessed- be!
Namaste
